Come and try out a new toolkit in a risk free, fun environment

Hosted by Stanford University’s Design Impact Program, this half-day bootcamp will leverage a series of small-group interactive workshops to teach you the frameworks, processes and skills required to foster a creative mindset geared for innovation. In addition to acquiring a new toolkit, you will join a community of change-makers to support you in your journey towards developing new personal and professional ventures.

SPEAKERS

David Kelley, Keynote Speaker

David Kelley is the founder of Stanford’s d.school and design firm IDEO. He has worked for over 30 years in in the field of design and developed a strong user centered design methodology. He is very passionate about using design to help unlock creative confidence in everyone from students to business executives. A frequent speaker on these topics, Kelley and his brother co-authored the New York Times best-selling book Creative Confidence: Unleashing the Creative Potential Within Us All.

Michael Barry is the founder of Point Forward and a master at Needfinding and Cross Cultural design. Michael has over two decades of experience providing strategic innovation at the critical early stages of the product development process. He has restructured research and innovation processes, provided strategic project management, and designed over 80 products, from mainframes to disposable diapers. Known for his infectious energy and enthusiasm, Michael consistently inspires individuals and companies to create new ideas—from abstract theories of consumer behavior to tangible product designs.
